Nothing But Fun Around Here

All Three in one picture...and smiling to boot!

We made our first amusement park visit today and practically had the park to ourselves

Which meant no lines and lots of smiles for this road demon

Fave and I couldn't tell if Tatum was enjoying herself on the bumper boats or not. I suspect she would have flashed a few smiles if the boats had actually been motorized - the only horse power was the ride operator who followed her around and pushed her into things.  Maybe a slight disappointment for this girl

But the excitement picked back up as Tatum took to the skies

and continued as we whirled round and round

and up and down

Graham was patient 

and enjoyed a few snuggles with Fave

Too cool for school, so we go to the park

Imagine the smile when he can actually ride

We couldn't leave without one more ride in the sky

Whew, what a day

Tatum can officially ride her bike (with training wheels) 

and Graham is off and going with his walker. Things are happening very quick around here! Slow down!

The bounce house was fun but I couldn't pull Tatum from the sandbox. True beach girl at heart. I see a project in my future

As a side note, Graham got his fourth tooth and can climb stairs now! Both happened overnight. I was walking downstairs and found him 7 stairs up. I thought Tatum practiced on one or two stairs before trekking further. Not Graham. After he realized he could do one, he climbed them all. Coming down on the other hand is not in his repertoire.

Uh oh, looks like we have a curious one on our hands. Tatum hasn't ever "tested" the pool net - it took Graham one nice afternoon outside. It works. My nerves don't.

Look who can ride a bike? Towards the end of the clip she's looking down at the pedals like she can't believe it either.  So amazing - over night her legs grew just long enough to really reach the pedals - she grasped the concept that the circular motion would propel her forward - and  like a switch her brain was able to coordinate it all.

 Graham is often Tatum's guest for Tea

 Look who has started wandering off at Tot Town - Graham darted for the train table despite the crowds of kids running around. Clearly Mr. Independent

 This has been Princess Tatum's after nap uniform as of late. Princess dress - check. Princess shoes - check. Princess crown - check. In keeping with one of her favorite shows, Princess Sofia, she likes to be "Fia" and assigns me and Graham to be "Prince James" and Daddy to be "Majesty". "Come on, Prince James Mommy", she says, "let's twirl". Her imagination is allowing her to explore make believe play and it is so fun to be a part of - even if I have to be a boy

 Speaking of boy,  this cool guy will be 16 next week! Never too cool to hang with his little cousin

 Now that Graham crawls and cruises, there is no keeping him contained in a stroller. Where Tatum goes, he goes - or at least he tries

A Day at the Park

 Friday mornings we meet our friends at the park to play and as you can see it makes this girl happy

Nolan has welcomed Graham into the group with open arms

Before I know it, Graham will be on the run too

 Tatum and Roman commandeered a car

 and promptly crashed it 

 So they let the owner of the car show them how it was done

 It didn't take long for them to get the hang of it

Apparently he took good notes because he sure did a number on the toy room while sister was sleeping
