We have all felt the gloomy disappointment of not being able to fit into our "skinny" jeans but no one more so than my dear Tatum. A few days ago, she brought me her baby's pants and said "I wear dis". After telling her they were too small - for an HOUR - I was desperate to stop the tears so I forced her little body into the even smaller pants.
This was the result and the best shot I could get because she thought it was funny that mommy was chasing her in her new fancy pants.
First thing this morning, Tatum came to the breakfast table saying "I wear dis". Too bad she didn't want the tiny pink pants again. Today, she wanted to wear her even smaller baby's unisuit. The doll is no more than a foot tall. That means she wanted to put on a 12 inch unisuit, not 12 inch pants.

After trying to explain to her that this outfit was REALLY not going to fit, I even tried to put it on her feet. She continuted to demand "I wear dis"- so I resorted to what any self preserving mom would - I gave her a warm cinnamon roll and turned on Mickey Mouse. I will mention that it even took Mickey a few minutes to calm the tears.
Happy Saturday!
